Myra Nishizaki is asking the public for $45,000, and her fundraiser tells donors that the whistleblowers never threatened anyone. In January 2024 a judge found that David Najar conducted himself “in a threatening and offensive manner” in at least one meeting. Her email to BJC Live Show says BJC did not acknowledge her in the live chat; on the stream, BJC answered the account and said no before the email was sent. Below: the email in full, the stream, ten of the weekend’s claims against the court record, and BJC’s account of the email.
Myra Nishizaki is asking the public for $45,000 for a lawyer. The page that asks tells donors: “None of the whistleblowers extorted anyone. We did not threaten anyone or demand money.” A judge found in January 2024 that David Najar, whom she calls the primary whistleblower, conducted himself “in a threatening and offensive manner” in at least one meeting, and another judge found in March 2025 “a prima facie case for civil extortion,” a probability finding on a discovery motion, not a verdict. No court made any finding about Nishizaki. The threat denial is the weekend’s most consequential claim, and not the only one the record contradicts. On October 24 Nishizaki emailed BJC, who hosts BJC Live Show on YouTube and has covered this story since September, that BJC had not acknowledged her in the live chat; the stream shows BJC answering the account and saying no before the email was sent. On October 25 BJC posted that she had declined, and Nishizaki published the email so readers could “decide for themselves whether it resembles the threatening ultimatum she’s described.” Here it is, beside the stream and the court record. BJC’s account of it holds up on the facts, and its characterizations are hers; Nishizaki’s claims, and her fundraiser’s, mostly go unproven, and the two the record decides fail it.

Hi BJC,
I’m myra, one of the whistleblowers you’ve been discussing on your show. I joined today’s livestream, identified myself, and offered to answer questions. You didn’t acknowledge me, so I’m reaching out directly.
You have spent episode after episode amplifying false claims about Cockroach and me. I’m offering to come on your show and provide you and your audience with the proof everyone has been so eager to see.
I’d also like to remind you that neither Cockroach nor I had creative control over what ultimately appeared in the videos. There is far more to this story than what has been shared publicly, and it’s complicated. I’m offering to help untangle the lies from the truth.
I have firsthand knowledge of what happened at Ideal Living, as well as primary-source documentary evidence supporting my claims about the broader investigation and directly contradicting the false allegations being circulated about Cockroach and me.
As we progressed in exposing the truth over the years, this story became far bigger than people understand. The players trying to keep the truth suppressed and victims silenced include not only Ideal Living and JKP, but powerful Hollywood and corporate media interests. I didn’t ask for this, but these are documented facts.
The effort to discredit us began before the videos launched, targeting Cockroach primarily while portraying me as a pathetic woman incapable of thinking or acting for herself. Nothing could be further from the truth. But immediately after the videos dropped, it escalated into a coordinated, aggressive online PR-style attack campaign that has only intensified since.
Your latest show demonstrates just how far this campaign has gone. The person on Reddit claiming to be my friend is not my friend. They are part of this coordinated campaign. Their comments contain countless falsehoods that I can readily disprove with facts.
I’m sure you don’t want your show used to spread misinformation by nefarious people aligned with a global child sex cult. Yet that’s what can happen when these claims are amplified without fully examining the evidence behind them. I am offering to provide you with that evidence and let your audience decide.
This is about decades of abuse against thousands of victims by a cult that has operated with impunity because it has always had the money to get away with it. Money that my former bosses and Ideal Living have used to fund and sustain this cult since its origins. The survivors are who matter. Every episode consumed by false allegations about the whistleblowers takes attention away from them.
Cockroach’s experience and mine are fundamentally different from those of the victims who endured abuse within this cult. Our experiences are neither equivalent to nor more important than theirs. They have gone through hell. We have never claimed to speak for them, only with them. Their stories are theirs to tell, and they deserve to finally be heard and believed.
In fact, our experiences further demonstrate the lengths this cult goes to silence those who speak out and try to expose the truth. We are not even victims or former members of this cult, and look at what they are doing to us.
People need to understand just how deep this goes, and that there are powerful players involved beyond Ideal Living and the cult, including Hollywood and corporate media interests, who have worked together to suppress this story. Yes, the Bruce Willis connection to this story is real. It’s that big. This is not conspiracy; these are facts about how hard it has been to break this story and the odds (and money) Cockroach and I have been up against.
The effort to discredit us and make the whistleblowers the story, rather than what we uncovered, only serves Ideal Living, the cult, and others who benefit from this story being suppressed. It shifts scrutiny away from the abuse, the money, and the people who enabled it.
You say you want to investigate the facts and let people make their own decisions. Then why not go to the source?
I respect the fuck out of the survivors and their right to speak. It is their strength and courage that got both Cockroach and me through some of the most difficult moments in this fight.
We have put our lives on the line to ensure this story is told and that those responsible for enabling their abuse are finally held accountable. But I won’t stand by while false and vile defamatory claims about both of our lives, actions, character, and credibility are repeatedly broadcast without an opportunity to respond.
I’m willing to come on your show, answer your questions, and show the evidence. If you decline, I intend to let your audience know that I offered.
I look forward to hearing from you.
myra
The email argues for the interview. It says she and Najar had no creative control over Reckless Ben’s videos and that she holds “primary-source documentary evidence”; that a “coordinated, aggressive online PR-style attack campaign” has targeted them since the videos launched; that the Reddit account claiming to be her friend “is not my friend” and is “part of this coordinated campaign”; that the people suppressing the story include “powerful Hollywood and corporate media interests,” which it calls “documented facts”; and that her former bosses and Ideal Living have funded the sect “since its origins.” It also says: “Yes, the Bruce Willis connection to this story is real.” Her fundraiser’s version of that link is that CAA, which it says signed Reckless Ben, “maintained a longstanding professional relationship with Bruce Willis”; neither shows any part he played in the story. As published, the email shows no attachment.
On the money, the email goes further than this site’s own record. This site grades the company’s denial that its money ever reached the sect as unresolved: Spiegel and Williams are the temple’s officers on public filings, but no public ledger shows a payment either way, and the sect’s organizations file no public Form 990.
BJC’s chat and stream, October 24, 3:44 to 3:54 p.m. EDT.
The email’s first claim can be checked to the minute. BJC’s stream that day ran from 12:05 p.m. EDT to about 3:54 p.m. EDT. At 3:44 p.m. EDT an account named @myrawhistleblower posted in its chat: “This has gotten out of control. This is Myra. I joined a little late, but I am right here, and I will answer any questions.” In the next nine minutes it posted fifteen more lines. The self-described friend on Reddit “is not real.” To Karen Jonson, the former member who was posting in the same chat: “Karen, you don’t know all the facts about what is going on. this is a coordinated attack from Ideal Living/JKP and yes, hollywood interests.” Then “I’ll text you right now to prove it.” At 3:50 p.m. EDT Jonson answered in the chat: “Myra/David - I won’t be talk with you - you have hurt the story and the victims”. At 3:53 p.m. EDT the account posted, “I am completely open and transparent. I am willing to come on the show and talk with BJC”.
BJC was reading the chat. At about 3:50 p.m. EDT she told her viewers she was “casually ignoring that a fake Myra is in the chat” and said: “I think she’s trolling I don’t think that’s like real Myra”. She read Jonson’s reply aloud. About two minutes later she read out the account’s line about documentary proof and answered it, “I don’t work for you,” and at about 3:53 p.m. EDT she gave her decision: she would not have Nishizaki on. “I don’t really trust these people, but if she makes a video, we’ll definitely react to it.” The stream ended under half a minute later. By its opening paragraph and its printed time, the email was sent after all of this.
Ten claims, beside the court record.
| Claim | The record | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| The fundraiser: “We did not threaten anyone” | Judge Karen Moskowitz found in January 2024, on clear and convincing evidence, that Najar engaged in “a course of conduct that constitutes unlawful harassment,” including at least one meeting where he conducted himself “in a threatening and offensive manner,” and that at least two of the anonymous emails carried enough signs, his phone number among them, to conclude they came from him. The finding is about Najar; no court made any finding about Nishizaki. The rulings report. | REFUTED |
| The fundraiser: “None of the whistleblowers extorted anyone,” and they did not “demand money” | In March 2025 Judge Valerie Salkin found “a prima facie case for civil extortion,” a probability finding on a discovery motion, not a verdict, and the case settled before trial. Najar himself testified of the nine figures: “you try to scare them a little bit, but you do it with money.” No court decided whether anyone extorted anyone. The rulings report. | UNRESOLVED |
| Nishizaki on Reddit, October 25: “We both accepted $0 in damages to ensure that neither of us had to sign an NDA.” | The company told a federal court in September 2025 that the agreement “included a confidentiality provision related to proprietary information stemming from Ms. Nishizaki’s employment with Ideal Living”; whether it has a nondisclosure clause of the kind she means is not public. What is public binds them in other ways: the clause she posted hands the transcripts to the company and requires every copy deleted, and the court filing records that Najar must “refrain from certain actions through December 31, 2034.” Najar says in his own video that the company “wanted an NDA” and that he refused. The settlement report. | ASSERTED |
| “There is a recording that proves that,” Nishizaki to Jonson on Reddit, and the fundraiser’s “The recordings can now be compared directly with the police reports, sworn testimony, legal declarations, and accusations made against us.” | By the clause she posted, the recordings went to a forensic expert and every other copy was to be certified deleted, and Najar said on October 11 that both of them had deleted theirs. She has not said where her pages came from. The settlement report. | UNRESOLVED |
| “I agreed to release my claims against Peter and the company for their past conduct because Newsweek had assured us it was committed to publishing its investigation.” | The assurance she has posted, the editor-in-chief’s “committed to this story,” is dated May 8, 2025. The cases settled on April 7, 2025, a month earlier. The emails on the record from before that date show a story in hand, not a promise to publish. The Newsweek report. | ASSERTED |
| “I received $0 in damages from my civil settlement with Ideal Living.” | Her deposition records her offer to settle for “a big fat zero,” and her suit was dismissed with prejudice in June 2025. Whether money moved under the agreement is not public. | ASSERTED |
| Najar “rejected a MASSIVE (and I mean MASSIVE) settlement offer the day before court-ordered mediation” | The mediation was set for March 31, 2025. No document shows an offer. The recordings report. | ASSERTED |
| “Peter lied in a police report dated February 8, 2023” | The report, dated February 8, 2023, records Spiegel’s account. Its “yelling” conflicts with his testimony that he did not remember Najar raising his voice, and with the recording page Nishizaki posted (“Please speak up”); on the cursing, his testimony agrees with it, and Christoni testified to obscenities. The judge who granted the restraining order found a meeting where Najar conducted himself “in a threatening and offensive manner.” A conflict on one word is not proof of a lie. The settlement report. | ASSERTED |
| Najar “represented himself” at the restraining-order hearings, “that they dragged out over four days” | The hearing ran four days, by the company’s own filing, and the transcript page Nishizaki posted has Najar questioning a witness himself: “DID MR. SPIEGEL AT ANY TIME ASK ME TO SPEAK UP?” | CONFIRMED |
| Najar faced “stalking and harassment by the cult/company” while he helped her | The only harassment finding on the record runs the other way: the restraining order Judge Moskowitz granted Spiegel against Najar. | ASSERTED |
Her post of October 25, line by line.
| BJC wrote | The email and the record | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| “a very long, aggressive email” | Seven hundred and ninety-three words in eighteen paragraphs: the length is a fact. Whether it is aggressive is her judgment; on Reddit readers split, one calling it “accusatory but not really aggresive.” | ASSERTED |
| “basically demanded I hand my entire platform over to her to say whatever she wants” | The email asks to come on the show to “answer your questions, and show the evidence,” with a consequence if refused. Its one condition is that she would tell BJC’s audience she had offered. “Entire platform” and “to say whatever she wants” overstate it; BJC would have asked the questions. | ASSERTED |
| “OR ELSE she would follow thru on an apparent threat to EXPOSE me to my audience” | “If you decline, I intend to let your audience know that I offered.” Going to BJC’s audience is what the line describes. | CONFIRMED |
| “This ultimatum comes as she is asking us all for $45,000.00USD for vague legal funds?” | The fundraiser’s goal is $45,000. It names no lawyer and no case, says the lawyer “requires a $50,000 retainer,” and is filed under “Rent, Food & Monthly Bills.” Its stated uses are the retainer, discovery and subpoenas, and “filing, transcription, forensic, and litigation expenses.” By late on October 25 it had raised $865 from eight donors. | CONFIRMED |
| “The story has amassed over 40,000,000 (forty million) views” | Reckless Ben’s three videos on it had 41,286,780 views by YouTube’s counts late on October 25, 2026: the first documentary, 25,149,484; the second, 12,338,761; his October 11 reply, 3,798,535. Nishizaki had put it at “nearly 40 million views” on October 22. | CONFIRMED |
| “we know they track emails” | As to Najar, in his own words. He says so himself in the unedited recording of his and Nishizaki’s September 2025 interview with Reckless Ben, which BJC Live Show played on September 10, 2026. Of his emails to the company: “I was sending them emails and tracking all of them.” Of a free Google extension: “Mail suite. So, I’ve tracked everything.” Both passages are Najar’s; nothing on the record shows Nishizaki tracking emails. Karen Jonson wrote on Reddit on October 25 of the same from the receiving end: “knowing exactly when I opened his emails and how long I read them.” | CONFIRMED |
| “go on ahead and tell my audience” that “I DECLINED” | She declined on air the day before, before the email was written, and again in the post. | CONFIRMED |
On Reddit that afternoon BJC added that she is “NOT journalist” and “NOT the news,” and told Nishizaki: “I’ve held back quite a bit of PUBLICLY AVAILABLE EVIDENCE about you and your family. Since I didn’t think it was relevant, but since YOU wanna take personal shots at my motivations, I’ll reconsider my approach.” Two readers in the thread objected to bringing her family into it. By late on October 25 nothing about Nishizaki’s family had appeared on BJC’s channel.
The fundraiser asks the public for money on a line a court’s finding contradicts: a judge found Najar’s conduct threatening, and “We did not threaten anyone” does not survive it. Of the weekend’s other claims, most go unproven: every Newsweek assurance she has shown came after she settled, the first a month after, and her claim that neither of them signed an NDA, like her recordings, stays open against an agreement that binds Najar until 2034 and required every copy deleted. Her email’s account of the chat does not match the stream, where BJC answered the account and said no before the email was sent. BJC’s own account of the email holds up on the facts; “aggressive” and “entire platform” are her reading, and she has since said she may publish what she found about Nishizaki’s family.
The rest stands where it stood. No court has heard the recordings, the agreement is not public, and nothing here alters the two rulings or what the transcript pages at the settlement report show in both directions.
